Rachel Fair

Rachel Fair began playing tennis at age 14 in Cleveland. She entered and won the 16 & Under Plain Dealer City Tournament when she was 15. The Forest City Tennis Club gave her opportunities to play tennis and compete with other American Tennis Association clubs and players. In 1957, Fair met Arthur Ashe and watched her hero, Althea Gibson, play at an exhibition at the ATA Nationals. In Cincinnati, Fair began her career with the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, supervising a number of programs, including the National Junior Tennis League. She helped found the Inner City Tennis Project in 1986. In 2016, Ms. Fair was inducted into the Cincinnati Tennis Hall of Fame.

Tony Pack

Tony Pack

COO / Cofounder

Tony Pack graduated from Woodward High School and the University of Cincinnati. In 1991, he was the Colonial Racquet Club Men’s 3.5 division champion. From 1991 to 2005, he was a USTA certified tennis official and is currently a USPTR certified tennis professional. He retired from the Cincinnati Recreation Commission after 34 years of service. He founded the Inner City Tennis Project with Rachel Fair in 1986. Pack serves on the boards of the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Association and the Midwest Tennis Association. In 2016, Mr. Park was inducted into the Cincinnati Tennis Hall of Fame.

Ghassan Al-Ansi

Ghassan Al-Ansi

Executive Director / Head Tennis Coach

Ghassan Al-Ansi is the Executive Director at Inner-City Tennis Project .
Coach Ghassan is The Davis Cup captain of Yemen, PTR Level 2 , USTA Safe Play, First/Aid certified Coach. Ghassan also was a former Xavier University of Louisiana Men's & Women's Assistant coach back in 2019.
Al-Ansi was trained Under several professionals coaches and most notably "Younes El Aynaoui" who was ranked 14 in the ATP ranking in 2003 and was the Head coach of the Qatar Mens National Team.
Ghassan is Yemen Number one National Player.
He Played for Two Universities throughout his colligate Career " Chowan University Dll and Xavier University of Louisiana NAIA D1.
During his season with Chowan University, Al-Ansi went 15:4 at position 1 for CU Hawks and won the first Conference Carolina Championship
Ghassan as a Gold Rush Player was the Runner-Up at NAIA D1 tennis national Championship in 2019.
He Also participated in the NAIA National Championship for Cross Country with XULA in 2020.
Al-Ansi is a Former Junior ITF 293 ranked Player,
